Job Title: Senior Therapist (Advanced Practitioner)
Reporting To: Clinic Manager / Founder

Primary Goals / Purpose of Role

To deliver advanced clinical and aesthetic treatments to the highest professional standard while mentoring foundation therapists and supporting the overall success of the clinic. The Senior Therapist acts as a trusted expert in advanced skincare and laser technologies, driving both client satisfaction and commercial performance.

Main Objectives

• Deliver advanced facial, laser, and aesthetic treatments to Tej & Co standards.
• Conduct detailed consultations and design personalised treatment programmes.
• Support training and mentoring for foundation therapists.
• Contribute to achieving sales and retention targets through expert advice.
• Uphold the brand reputation for precision, care, and innovation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical Service & Treatment Excellence

• Perform all treatments within the Foundation Therapist scope plus:
  • Laser skin rejuvenation
  • Laser hair removal
  • Bespoke facial treatments
  • In-depth skin consultations
  • Hair removal consultations
• Create and follow treatment plans tailored to client goals and skin health.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, devices, and clinical protocols.
• Manage client expectations professionally, ensuring informed consent.

Client Care & Retention

• Deliver an outstanding client journey from initial contact to follow-up.
• Recommend homecare products and treatment courses to support results.
• Handle any client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure accurate, compliant client records.

Leadership & Team Support

• Act as a mentor and technical reference point for Foundation Therapists.
• Support Clinic Manager in ensuring treatment consistency and standards.
• Assist with on-the-job training and quality checks.

Operational & Commercial Performance

• Support achievement of personal and team targets (sales, rebooking, retail).
• Contribute to maintaining stock and treatment area readiness.
• Uphold all compliance, safety, and brand procedures.

Skills, Attributes & Training

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent advanced aesthetic qualification.
• Qualified and experienced in laser and advanced facial protocols.
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
• Excellent communication and client rapport skills.
• Commercial awareness and focus on achieving results.
