Job Title: Foundation Therapist (Early Career)
Reporting To: Senior Therapist / Clinic Manager / Founder

Primary Goals / Purpose of Role

To deliver exceptional client service and consistently high-quality treatments in line with Tej & Co’s clinical and brand standards. The Foundation Therapist supports the wider clinic team while developing advanced treatment knowledge and practical confidence across the Tej & Co treatment portfolio.

Main Objectives

• Provide an excellent client experience from consultation through to treatment and aftercare.
• Develop skills and proficiency in all Tej & Co standard treatments.
• Uphold impeccable hygiene, presentation, and professionalism at all times.
• Support daily clinic operations, maintaining a calm, efficient, and positive work environment.
• Achieve personal development goals and training milestones set by management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Client Experience & Service Delivery

• Deliver core Tej & Co treatments, including waxing, epil Pro, electrolysis (hair removal and skin blemishes), eyelash and eyebrow tinting, and facial treatments using LED light therapy, galvanic currents (Sono & Ionto), high frequency, microcurrent, and radio frequency. 
• Conduct pre-treatment consultations following Tej & Co protocols.
• Provide post-treatment advice to enhance results and promote repeat business.
• Maintain consistent treatment quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Support senior team members during advanced treatments or training sessions.

Standards

• Ensure all treatment rooms and equipment are clean, prepared, and stocked.
• Follow health and safety and cross-infection control standards.
• Assist with reception and retail support when required.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality at all times.

Team Support & Development

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Attend regular training and development sessions.
• Seek feedback proactively to improve technical and client care performance.

Skills, Attributes & Training

• NVQ Level 2/3 Beauty Therapy (or equivalent).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong sense of personal presentation.
• Desire to learn advanced aesthetic treatments.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
