But before having one of our trademark skincare treatments such as Laser Skin Rejuvenation, LED Phototherapy, or Micro Needling, we first of all need to talk to you about the skin barrier, and making sure it’s in the best possible condition before starting treatment.
Skin Barrier
The Skin Barrier is important to us as well as you and in order for us to get you the best results, it’s really important for us to get your skin barrier looking and feeling strong and healthy. Too much time in the sun – or the cold, harsh exfoliation treatments and peels can all affect the skin barrier, and the natural ability of the skin to heal and protect itself.
This can mean that adding additional products and treatments to the skin might make it more reactive meaning becomes red or dry. Despite using premium products, or the best treatments for your skin, you won’t get the best results if your skin barrier is damaged.
Corneotherapy
Corneotherapy forms the basis of all skincare treatments in the clinic, and our at home maintenance packages. Think of it as the science behind our skincare and the methodology we use to assess and care for skin. It doesn’t make sense to us to apply treatments and products to skin when it isn’t in its optimum condition.

Cleanse
We recommend a gentle cleansing milk to most of our clients. It is suitable for even the most sensitive skin and is very effective for removing makeup and residue from the day.
Serum
In addition to a standard serum, we also sell the Dermaviduals Prescriptive Serum which is a nourishing product providing vitamins and nutrients to cleansed skin. With a light texture, the serum will penetrate the deeper layers of the skin and is customised specifically for each customer. It is ideal for skin that is more delicate and needing some TLC.
Moisturise
Dermaviduals Prescriptive High Classic Cream is another custom formulated product we blend specifically for a client’s Christmas skincare needs. It’s gentle enough to protect the skin barrier and is chemically similar to the membrane structure of the skin making it perfect for skin that is damaged and in need of nourishment.
Sunscreen
We always recommend a separate sunscreen for maximum protection from the sun. A good sunscreen protects the skin’s natural barrier and offer a sun protection filter against UVA and UVB radiation. It should be used 365 days a year even on dull cloudy days when the UVA ageing rays are present and exposure – and damage are most likely!
