Electrolysis Treatment
Electrolysis weakens the hair, gradually destroying it over a course of treatment, and is a permanent method of hair removal. At Tej&Co we offer three different electrolysis methods – Galvanic Direct, Diathermy and Blend – and will choose the method of electrolysis that will be most effective for you. If you’ve tried it before don’t be afraid to try it with Tej&Co – we use the most advanced technology, far gentler and more comfortable than ever before.
What do you need to know?
Electrolysis is safe, effective and reliable. The three types of treatment work on different types of hair, so we will select the best match for you – we can treat all hair types, including coarse, grey, red and blonde hair, but we do need hair to be at least 1cm long for treatment, and you shouldn’t pluck between treatments. Our first session will be a consultation with your therapist, where we will check that electrolysis is suitable for you and choose the best method for your hair type.
What happens during treatment?
We insert a probe no bigger than an eyelash into the hair follicle and target a tiny burst of energy at the root to stop nutrients reaching the hair. Each probe is sterile, and we use a new probe for each client. You’ll feel a slight stinging sensation.
Results
The hair will become weaker and finer, but you will need repeat treatment to become hair free permanently.
Aftercare
We apply aloe vera gel straight after your treatment. You can use this at home for a few days after treatment, if needed.
